A huge thank you to everyone who participated in our incredibly successful Tricky Tray fundraiser! Your support made a real difference for our students and school community. A special shout-out goes to our lucky winner, Nate, who won the "Lunch with the Principal" experience! Nate brought a friend along, and the two of them enjoyed a fantastic McDonald's lunch. Thanks to the hard work of the PTA, the funds raised will go directly toward enriching school life for our students by providing new programs and donating to essential school trips. We extend our deepest gratitude to the PTA for making this event such an overwhelming success.

Dear Honiss School Families,
The necessary repairs have been completed, and we are pleased to confirm that Honiss School will be open for a full day of school tomorrow, Thursday, January 29, 2026.

In a fun spin on "Take Your Child to Work Day," we hosted our highly successful "Take Your Parent to School Day!" Over 270 parents attended, enjoying the opportunity to visit their child's classroom and participate in an engaging activity together. We appreciate parents taking the time off of work to attend this event further solidifying the home school and parent partneRship.

We kicked off the annual Crosstown Showdown between Honiss and Selzer with an exciting pep rally! Our student-athletes were introduced and received enthusiastic cheers from their peers and the cheerleaders. The cheerleaders showcased their talents with impressive routines, including aerial maneuvers and pyramid formations. Excitement and enthusiasm filled the air as students waved signs, ready for a victory. Go Hawks!

We are thrilled to announce that on December 3rd, we proudly inducted 17 outstanding students into the National Junior Honor Society (NJHS)! These students exemplify the five pillars of NJHS: Scholarship, Service, Leadership, Character, and Citizenship. We are incredibly proud of their achievements and dedication, which led to this well-deserved recognition.
Congratulations to all 17 new inductees! We look forward to seeing the positive impact they will have on our school and community through their commitment to service.
