8th Grade WDC Trip Kicks Off!
Our amazing 8th graders are officially on their way to Washington D.C.! They're buzzing with excitement and can't wait to delve into the rich history and culture of our nation's capital.

Riding the Kindness Wave on SEL Day was a fantastic way to promote a positive school climate! Students actively learned and practiced the five SEL competencies, creating a wave of kindness throughout the school.

Our Read Across America author visit was a hit! He captivated students by sharing his incredible journey to becoming a writer and illustrator. His passion and dedication were truly inspiring, motivating students to chase their own dreams with creativity and determination.

This weekend twenty-nine students participated in the 2024 New Jersey History Day Regional Competition at Monmouth University along with their teachers, Mr. Math, Mrs. Conboy, Mr. Ongchin, Ms. Casapulla, and Ms. Band. These students put forth a year’s worth of hard work, research, interviews, and dedication to create exhibits, documentaries, and websites for this competition. Congratulations to all especially the eleven students who will be moving on to the New Jersey State Competition at William Paterson University. We are especially proud of their hard work, creativity, and dedication.

Five enthusiastic members of the Dumont Women's Club visited our school today to launch Read Across America Week in style! Filled with energy and a love for reading, they captivated students with engaging story time sessions. The joy of reading filled the air as both our guest readers and students thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
